Technological Initiative Pilsen

It was held a tour of high-tech manufacturing intelligent factory Siemens in Amberg on April 29, 2015 . Production is secured by almost fully automated production lines, which produce a stunning variety of printed circuit boards and control units made by Siemens. This factory is the pride of German industry and it has been designated European factory of 2014. The visit was organized at the request of the association TIP with support Siemens Czech Republic and Siemens AG. This event was attended by representatives of ZF Staňkov, ZF Engineering Plzeň, AIMTEC, GOLDRATT, Openmatics, Rodenstock, BONNEL TECHNOLOGIE, Blue Projects Agency and ZČU: New Technologies – Research Centre. TIP member companies gained a significant inspiration for their business in the Pilsen region. Friends of Siemens, thank you!

The original wooden polytechnic construction kit allows you to create a variety of functional groups with targeting on the technical details. It develops manual dexterity and imagination andit is intended primarily for children (4 years). Individual parts are stored in boxes, which can also be used for creative activities.

By purchasing of this kit for kindergartens, primary schools and other institutions which cooperate with members and partners of associations TIP, It may be taken further positive steps to support technical education among children and adolescents.

Session of the Commission for Promotion of technical education in the Pilsen Region will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 14:00 pm in the building of Regional Authority.

Israeli group Goldratt released new technological solutions for retail networks in Europe. Revolutionary executive solution that is built on a system SYMPHONY – Retail intends group the first in Europe to introduce key distribution companies in the Czech Republic. For this reason, visits a week from April 13, 2015 Czech Republic Goldratt Consulting company representatives and discuss solution with Czech retail companies. Goldratt Consulting Group was founded by physicist and management guru Eliyahu M. Goldratt.

This day was held on the grounds of the University of West Bohemia in the course business information systems, who teaches prof. Ing. Josef Basl, PhD., a lecture entitled “Theory Of Constraints (TOC) – introduction”. Within the prepared program were explained basic principles and mechanisms of TOC as in his article “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants” introduced author of TOC – Eliahu Goldratt in 2008. The lecture was led as a guest Ing. Pavel Duchek, CEO of Blue Projects Agency, Ltd. while Secretary General Technological Initiative Pilsen .

EvoBus Česká Republika will participate on the OpenText Innovation Tour 2015, a conference on state of the art document management systems, on March 24/25th 2015 in Munich. Representatives of the association Technological Initiative Pilsen attended Deloitte Data Lab on February 12, 2015 in Prague. On this occasion, Deloitte presented the activities of group Deloitte Data Lab, which focuses on a number of projects using large data packages of transactional, financial or physical character. There are built advanced methods for processing above these data structure including analytical and predictive algorithms. Services related to the activities of this group are offered to private and public sector.

Participants started to discuss about topics concerning Big Data after tour of Data lab. The whole event was attended by representatives of Deloitte from around the world. TIP association were presented by members of the Board and General Secretary and also significant association members companies including ZF engineering Plzeň, ZF Staňkov, MECAS ESI, EvoBus Česká republika and others.

The association plans to organize next visit, a visit to the intelligent factory of Siemens in Amberg on April of this year.

Media in the Pilsen region have increasingly more alert to the particular topic of technical education. This influential regional list released Monday, January 26, 2015 in a special supplement, which was entirely devoted to this topic. Apart from articles and interviews were published in Annex numerous company presentations and technical schools.
