Session of the Commission for Promotion of technical education in the Pilsen Region will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 14:00 pm in the building of Regional Authority.
Israeli group Goldratt released new technological solutions for retail networks in Europe. Revolutionary executive solution that is built on a system SYMPHONY – Retail intends group the first in Europe to introduce key distribution companies in the Czech Republic. For this reason, visits a week from April 13, 2015 Czech Republic Goldratt Consulting company representatives and discuss solution with Czech retail companies. Goldratt Consulting Group was founded by physicist and management guru Eliyahu M. Goldratt.
This day was held on the grounds of the University of West Bohemia in the course business information systems, who teaches prof. Ing. Josef Basl, PhD., a lecture entitled “Theory Of Constraints (TOC) – introduction”. Within the prepared program were explained basic principles and mechanisms of TOC as in his article “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants” introduced author of TOC – Eliahu Goldratt in 2008. The lecture was led as a guest Ing. Pavel Duchek, CEO of Blue Projects Agency, Ltd. while Secretary General Technological Initiative Pilsen .

Representatives of the association Technological Initiative Pilsen attended Deloitte Data Lab on February 12, 2015 in Prague. On this occasion, Deloitte presented the activities of group Deloitte Data Lab, which focuses on a number of projects using large data packages of transactional, financial or physical character. There are built advanced methods for processing above these data structure including analytical and predictive algorithms. Services related to the activities of this group are offered to private and public sector.
Participants started to discuss about topics concerning Big Data after tour of Data lab. The whole event was attended by representatives of Deloitte from around the world. TIP association were presented by members of the Board and General Secretary and also significant association members companies including ZF engineering Plzeň, ZF Staňkov, MECAS ESI, EvoBus Česká republika and others.
The association plans to organize next visit, a visit to the intelligent factory of Siemens in Amberg on April of this year.
Media in the Pilsen region have increasingly more alert to the particular topic of technical education. This influential regional list released Monday, January 26, 2015 in a special supplement, which was entirely devoted to this topic. Apart from articles and interviews were published in Annex numerous company presentations and technical schools. Big data? What we should know about it.
What is Big Data? Big data is when the post office plans more drivers on Tuesday because it is raining on Sunday. Big data is when the taxi service knows that you are having a one night stand, and has a good guess where. Big data is when the price for an air ticket from Paris to Barcelona goes up because Victoria Pilsen wins in Prague. All these are examples covered by the news in the last weeks. And why are we concerned? Because we have all invested heavily in IT, but we are just starting to use the functions that our systems offer. Wouldn’t it be nice to know when our customers will place their next orders, our machines need maintenance, the exchange rate will make a dip or our staff will get sick?
TIP proposes a visit to the DataLab of Deloitte in Prague, to get some hands-on insight into the world of Big Data. You are invited – and we calculated with your visit!

It was held a traditional meeting of the members and partners of the Association of Technological Initiative Pilsen (hereinafter TIP) on October 23, 2014 . The organizer of the meeting was the member ASTOS Machinery a.s., which is headquartered in Aš (Selbská 2746/18).
Participants of the meeting become familiar with the company’s activities ASTOS during the presentation of Michael Ondraschek, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and factory tour. This was followed by a brief introduction of new guests: AIMTEC a. s., MAHLE Behr Holýšov s.r.o., ZF Staňkov s.r.o. and University of West Bohemia in Pilsen: New Technologies – Research Center. It was presented Wuppermann Kovotechnika s.r.o. company at the end of this section, which is seeking membership in the TIP.
It was solved organizational agenda of association in the last part of the meeting . The general meeting within the meeting decided to adopt the company Wuppermann Kovotechnika s.r.o. between members. Subsequently, the general meeting approved the annual report and the report of the auditor on management of the association for the year 2013. The most important part of the meeting was the election of a new Board of Directors with respect to the ending term of office. The General Meeting decided on the following composition of new Board of Directors:

Chairman of the Board of Directors will be elected at the forthcoming meeting of the newly elected Board of Directors, which will take place till the end of this year.
On 7 October 2014 was held the second workshop on the promotion of technical education. in the conference hall of the Pilsen Region. The program has performed several presenters. (more information here) workshops attended, among others. Representatives of associations TIP, General of Secretary Ing. Pavel Duchek and Mgr. Adéla Cmarková.
In the discussion, Mr. Duchek exited in response to the figures presented by solid employability of graduates from nontechnical field University of West Bohemia, when in addition to these numbers is presented in the amount of state subsidies to promote employment among others these graduates. The present representative of the Office of work, although he did not have exact figures, but said that this is only in the Pilsen Region of hundreds of millions Czech of crowns annually.
On October 7, 2014 will take place 2nd Workshop: „Promoting technical education in the Pilsen Region“. The event will be held from 9:30 am in the municipal Assembly of the Pilsen Region at Škroupova 18, Pilsen, in 1st floor, door 174.
Workshop starts and guests personally will welcome the Deputy Governor for education, sport, turism and project of Pilsen 2015, Mr. Jiří Struček. Workshops involving representaives from several schools, companies and institutions. As a guest will HELAGO company and COMTES FHT a.s.
